So this is my first post to this blog and in it I thought I say a little about what to expect here.
My wife and I currently live in Seattle, but were previously in San Diego (I know, a huge difference in climates). Down there, we had a long list of places we would go to eat, collected over our six years there from our own exploration and the suggestions of close friends.
We now live in what could be loosely called the suburbs ... loosely because we have a prime view of what we call the "crack shack" from our kitchen balcony (more on this later), so we lack the plethora of food options we were accustomed to living in the Golden Triangle in SD. We also don't plan on spending as much time here in Seattle, so we're going to hit the eats scene as hard as we can. This blog will help us keep track of the places we like and the places that cause us to wretch at the mere sound of their names. For any of our friends still in SD (or planning to visit), we'll cover the places we've been to down there in due time, because we'll definitely be back (there's only so much gray one can take). Of course, mixed in will be the standard blog fare -- random thoughts, adventure details, etc. -- but seriously speaking, it's all about the food!
